Donations
In this section , you can find out all about how to make a donation that will help
The Elizabeth Foundation to keep providing support to young deaf children and their families.
We’ve included information about:
Making a donation online today, using our Just Giving web page. Here is the button that
you will find on most pages of this website:
This widely-used method of online charitable giving is secure, and allows you to give
tax-efficiently using Gift Aid. Please return to our website again when you have made your
donation!
Thank You.

Payroll Giving
This used to be known as Give As You Earn (GAYE), and is a simple, tax effective
way to give to charity from your pay. Because your donation is deducted from your
pay before your income tax is calculated, you get tax relief straight away at your
highest rate of tax (for example, if you pay 22% tax, you can give a charity £10 and
it will only cost you £7.80. If you pay 40% tax it will only cost you £6). Ask your
employer’s payroll department if they offer a Payroll Giving scheme, and ask them for a
form to complete. You can also find out more from the website of HM Revenue and Customs,
or by calling HMRC on 08453 020203. The Elizabeth Foundation would love to receive your
payroll giving donations each month, and regular giving, however small, makes it much
easier for us to plan ahead.

Sending a donation to The Elizabeth Foundation
If you would like to simply send us a donation in the post, we would love to hear from you.
Please don’t send us cash, as this is not very secure. We would be delighted if you would
also include a Gift Aid form with your donation, to enable us to claim back the tax; see our
Gift Aid section for more information. Or you may prefer to donate anonymously –
either way, we will be very grateful for your support. If you would like to help in this way
you can send your donation directly to:

We have been very fortunate to receive wonderful donations from individuals who have taken
part in a sponsorship event on behalf of The Elizabeth Foundation. The London Marathon,
10k Runs, Sponsored Swims and Slims, they all help. Justgiving.com, an online giving website,
enables you to set up a personal fundraising page for your chosen sponsored event.
Just email your link to family, friends and work colleagues, and Justgiving will collect
in your sponsorship electronically, reclaiming Gift Aid automatically.
